Obituary of Karen Louise Henyan

Karen Louise Henyan, 80, passed away July 17, 2019. Karen was pre-deceased by her loving husband Woodie. Karen and Woodie had three children, Cheryl (deceased), John (Shelley) and Laura (Tom). Karen had six grandchildren, Cami, Lane, Emma, Bronwyn, Liam and Taylor. Karen will be missed by her sister Nancy (Bonnie) and brother, David as well as sister-in-law Linda (Everett) and several nieces and nephews.

She was born in Minot, North Dakota to Grace and Carl Pietsch on November 16, 1938. Karen spent her childhood in Minnesota and started her career as a flight attendant with Braniff Airlines after attending the University of Minnesota. She moved to Texas, where she met Woodie and they were married in 1962. Karen spent most of her time devoted to raising her family, and she and Woodie loved to spend time together by taking road trips around the USA and Canada.
