Obituary of Stan Coffee
~~Stan Coffee passed away in his sleep suddenly and peacefully Monday November 6, 2017. He lived his life to the fullest every day and even played in the State Senior Tennis finals the days prior. Stan enjoyed his last evening in the company of good friends and his wife with great conversation and laughs.
Stan was born on July 3rd, 1944 in Houston, Texas. He grew up in McCamey, Texas; playing all sports with baseball being his love. He went to Texas Tech University on a baseball scholarship and completed his bachelors and Masters in Business. He held numerous sales and management positions over his career, but was a salesman at heart. He never forgot a name of anyone he met. He had an answer and solution to every problem and situation and was always willing to lend a hand and get it done.
He spent the last few years living in Fort Worth near his family. He played as much tennis and golf as possible (and he always played to win) and spent most every Sunday sharing family dinners with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed every moment with his granddaughters, playing silly games with them and doing absolutely whatever they wanted. He was happy and loved his family very much. He played hard and loved hard.
Stan is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Gail and two children Lee and Cara. He is also survived by his brother Mike, son-in-law Matthew and two beautiful granddaughters that were his joy, Charlee and Qwinn.
Please no flowers. Those of you that knew Stan, he did not care about flowers. He was passionate about many things including our country. If you are looking to do something, donations can be made to:
