Obituary of Tommy Serak

Tommy Serak, 66 of Ft. Worth, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 in Ft. Worth surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Duncan Oklahoma. First and foremost, Tommy was a loving Christian husband and father. He was a farmer, a superb mechanic and a welder. He loved to fish and go camping, but more than anything, he loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his grandsons. One of his favorite past times was to stash chocolate around the house for his personal enjoyment. He will be dearly missed, never forgotten and always loved. He is survived by is loving wife, Rebecca Serak; his son, Tommy D. Serak and his wife, Nicole; his daughters, Tammy Prince and her husband, Jonathan, Teresa Whitstine and her husband, Colby; his brother, Tony D. Serak and his wife, Susan; his sister, Dorothy Russel; his adored grandchildren, Daniel Revilla, Jacob Serak, Christopher Serak, Jeremy Serak, Caleb Prince, Levi Whitstine and Colson Whitstine; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Serak; his mother and stepfather, William and Dreda Blakesley. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Way of Life Church, 1332 Yates Drive, Hurst, Texas with Rev. Kevin Shindoll officiating. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Bluebonnet Memorial Park, Colleyville, Texas Visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Way of Life Church and will last until service time. Those serving as pallbearers include, Tommy D. Serak, Colby Whitstine, Jonathan Prince, Daniel Revilla, Tony J. Serak and Andrew Serak.
