Obituary of James Cunningham Morton

James Cunningham Morton, 78, of Bedford, Texas passed away peacefully with family by his side on January 22, 2020. Visitation will be held Monday, January 27, 11:00am with Funeral Service to follow at 1:30pm, Forest Ridge Memorial Park Chapel, 8525 Mid Cities Blvd. North Richland Hills, Texas 76182. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville, Texas. James Morton was born July 17, 1941 in Flushing, New York. James became a resident of Bedford in 1983 after relocating with American Airlines. James retired with American Airlines after 40 years in 2001. After retirement James enjoyed traveling and spending time with the grandkids. James is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Carol Morton, three children; Patricia (Scott) Pannell, Nancy (Jeff) Stafford, Jim (Joanne) Morton, six grandchildren; Courtnee Morton, Joshua Stafford, Benjamin Pannell, Justin Morton, Trevor Stafford, Sarah Pannell, siblings; Art “Skippy” Morton, Pete (Brenda) Morton and many nieces and nephews. James is preceded by his parents Arthur Frank Morton and Eleanor May Morton.
