Obituary of Larry Woodley Pike

Larry Woodley Pike, 70, passed away on December 25, 2019 in Irving, Texas. He was born on December 11, 1949 in Tyler, Texas to Marion Dale (M.D) Pike and Editha Mae (Woodley) Pike. Larry was a 1968 graduate of MacArthur High School where he was a member of the FCA and played football. Larry spent many years as a telephone installer in Alaska. Upon his return to Texas 40 years ago he was in commercial real estate, then started his own company Pike Technology Group specializing in telephone-data installation and technology. Larry loved everything about the outdoors, had been an airplane pilot, raced sailboats and loved motorcycle riding. He was preceded in death by his parents, M.D. and Editha Pike. He is survived by his brother, Lynn Pike and wife, Sandy of Tulsa, OK; niece, Leah Smith and husband, Jason of Port Orchard, WA and their son, Peter; nephew, Robbie Pike of Duncanville, TX; and girlfriend, Cindy Roe Morgan of Irving. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 10:00AM at Forest Ridge Funeral Home Memorial Park Chapel.
