Obituary of Mary Kathleen Jacobson

Memorial services for Kathy Jacobson (79) of Keller will be 12:20p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020 at The Hills Church 6300 NE Loop 820, NRH, TX 76180. Kathy passed away December 20, 2019 in Keller. She was born April 13, 1940 to Raymond and Virginia Southworth in Wichita Falls, Texas. Kathy enjoyed her younger years in Texas and finished growing up in Oklahoma City, where she graduated from Classen High School in 1957. Kathy and Ken married in Oklahoma City on June 15, 1974. God smiled down and let Kathy survive stage 4 inflammatory breast cancer in 1998 and blessed her with 21 more years on this earth. Kathy was the church secretary for Bixby Christian Church in Bixby, OK. After moving to Keller, TX she became the church secretary for the Bedford Christian Church. Kathy loved Jesus, her family, friends, puppy dogs, and birds. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Ken Jacobson, daughters Jamie Leat and Diane Ralls, son Scott Baker, step-daughter Connie Jacobson, step-son Bryan Storm, sister Judy Southworth Cross and her husband Danny, grandchildren Sarah Robinson, Emily Leat, Trey Ralls, Joy Beach and Sade Baker, great-grandchildren Jude and Maisie Ralls, niece and nephew Annalee Baum and Danny Lee Cross, cousins Jenny Lou Tidwell and Becky Travis. In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association.
