David Frazior Jr.

Obituary of David McKee Frazior Jr.

David M. Frazior, Jr., 76, died Thursday evening, December 19, 2019, in a local hospital. Born in Houston, David was one of two children born to a World War II military veteran. David played baseball in high school and in college for the TCU Horned Frogs, who he followed as a fan for the rest of his life. After graduation from law school, David worked as a accountant, banker and business owner. When he and his wife Mary relocated to Bedford, he pursued an almost 20-year career in real estate retail leasing and property management. Throughout David’s life, he was an avid golfer, whether just hitting balls at local driving ranges or playing in local tournaments. He enjoyed watching golf tournaments on TV and never missed watching TCU football nor Dallas Cowboys’ games, staying faithful even during unsuccessful seasons. David had a great sense of humor and will be remembered for his playful nature and his kind and patient demeanor. He loved playing Star Wars and going to the movies with his grandchildren, and taught them to love TCU. David loved his family and enjoyed attending and supporting their interests, particularly their love for dogs. He was a friend to many, and in recent years he always looked forward to having a beer with his buddies at their favorite local restaurant. David is survived by his wife Mary; his son and daughter-in-law McKee and Adrienne Frazior of Arlington; his daughter and son-in-law, Danielle M. and Todd Subjeck of Watauga; three grandsons, Alexander Moss Frazior, Matt Subjeck, and Fischer McKee Subjeck; one cousin, David O’Brien, III; two sisters-in-law Kathy Nicholas and Patty Rogala; nieces Megann Rogala, Jessica Rogala, and Samantha Johnson; nephew Justin Belton; and many friends. He will be deeply missed. Preceding David in death are his parents and his sister. A Celebration of Life reception will be held Sunday, December 29, 2019, from 3-5 p.m. at the Forrest Ridge Funeral Home, Memorial Park Chapel, 8525 Mid Cities Blvd., in N. Richland Hills.
