Obituary of Barbara Evelyn Busey

Barbara Evelyn Busey, was born, December 3, 1945 in Munday, Texas.  She was the daughter of Bobbie and Mildred Barley, sister to Ann, Mary, Becki, Janie and Chuck.  She was the wife of Thomas Busey, and  mother to Chris, Michelle and Brian along with Cheryl and lots of others, aunt to several including CJ, Jessica, and Trey, and grandmother to Elisabeth, Madalyn, Jade and Stephanie.  Barbara was known for her generous and loving spirit.  She was always available to help a friend or family member. She was a faithful servant of God dedicating large amounts of her life and time working on the bus program in Idalou and later working with The Hills Church in different ministries, including the Backpack and Women outreach ministry. Barbara was a hard worker and dedicated employee and was working until she became sick. She loved to travel, especially with family and friends.  She enjoyed playing games like euchre, bridge, and dominoes.  She had a sweet giving spirit and was always available to listen and help in any way that she could.  She will be missed terribly by her friends and family.  Barbara’s graveside ceremony will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery.  Her memorial service will be at The Hills Church at 11:30, with a lunch following.  In lieu of flowers, we would like you to make a donation to the backpack ministry for children, Neighborhood Connections, The Hills Church, www.thehillschurch.org.
