Obituary of Lee Ferguson
Lee “LL” Ferguson was born on August 9, 1968 in Vernon Texas and passed from this life on November 20, 2019. Lee is survived by his wife Carrie Ferguson, daughters; Lindsey (Josh) Cook, Emily Ferguson, Cari Ferguson, sons Austin and Levi Ferguson, parents Bob and Georgia Ferguson, brother Joe (Mindy) Ferguson, grandchildren; Ella, Samuel, and Annelise, nieces, nephew, and many more loved ones. He was preceded in death by his sister Debbie Brockett.
Lee and Carrie met at Arlington Memorial Hospital, in the ER working as techs. Carrie fell in love with his witty sense of humor, kind, and infectious personality. Lee was compassionate, a true gentleman; always opening car doors and chivalrous. Lee and Carrie were married May 21, 2005. The births of Austin and Levi completed their family, which he loved very much. He enjoyed throwing the baseball around with his boys and always looked forward to their annual family trips to Florida for vacations. Lee enjoyed taking his family to church and was a great provider in every aspect of life. He was a faithful, loving, gentle husband, father, and friend.
Lee loved hunting with his boys, his dad, and Jeff Martin. He also loved fishing, camping, grilling and cooking. He loved Sunday football, hot wings, and movie quotes.
Lee served the City of Bedford and its citizens, proudly for 21 years as a firefighter/paramedic, field training officer, and medical officer. He was dearly loved by his brothers and sisters in the Bedford Fire department.
Lee will be missed beyond words. The family would like to say that they are overwhelmingly appreciative of the prayers, support, friendships, and memories shared over his lifetime. He will be deeply missed but we are thankful for your continued prayers.
