Kathleen Sue Boase Obituary

 

- Sue Boase, 84, passed away Oct 29, 2019 surrounded by her family.

-Funeral: Visitation 11:30 am followed by memorial service at­­ 12:30 pm.  First Colleyville, 5300 Colleyville Blvd.  Burial to follow at Bluebonnet Cemetery, 5725 Colleyville Blvd.

-Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St Jude’s Research Hospital in Sue’s memory and in honor of her love for children.

- Sue was born February 16, 1935 to Donovan and Juanita Roberts in Stephenville, Texas. She was the third of five children. She married the love her life, Otis Boase, on April 20, 1952. They moved to Hurst, Texas in 1960 and raised four children whom she loved dearly. Sue devoted her life to her husband and family and was happiest surrounded by her immediate and extended family.  She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved children and worked for many years in childcare at First Colleyville. Some of the children she cared for continued to visit her even as adults. She will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. Sue was a good and devoted Christian. We will miss her beautiful smile and sweet nature. 

Sue was preceded in death by her loving husband, Otis Boase; her devoted son, David Boase; her parents, Donovan Roberts and Juanita Ponton; her sister, Patricia Snipes and her brother, Sonny Roberts.

Survivors: Children, Diane Shanahan (Dave), Pam Brewer (Steve) and Randy Boase (Mary). Grandchildren: Misty Gober (Michael), Nick Warneke, Adam Brewer (Tiffany), and Lindsey Gonzales (Joseph). Great grandchildren:  Andrew, Austin and Addison Gober, Emma and Jenna Brewer, Michael Brewer and Alexis Salas. Brother, Terry Roberts (Margaret); sister, Carolyn Hibler; and countless sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
