Obituary of Wilbur Lee Burns
Wilbur Lee Burns, 81, of Euless, Tx. passed away peacefully on October 21, 2019 at a local hospital.
Wilbur was born in Carthage, Tx on October 16, 1938 to Alpha Omega Burns and Mary Ola Capps. He served in the US Army from 1957 to 1967 some of that time was spent in Germany.
Visitation 1:00 pm to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, at Forest Ridge Funeral Home, 8525 Mid Cities Blvd in North Richland Hills. Service will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the state room.
Wilbur is survived by his wife, Kay Burns: son, Dwain Burns, daughter, Dana Stickley-Walker; grand children, Victoria Winfrey and Bryce Walker; great grand children, Darci Walker and Rhett Walker; a sister, Reba Nell Harris.
Wilbur will be laid to rest at DFW National Cemetery at a later date.
