Obituary of Armand L. Tremblay

Armand L. Tremblay, 98, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019. Memorial service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Bedford, TX.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to St. Michael Catholic Church, Bedford, TX or your local Salvation Army. 

Armand was born April 15, 1921, in Nashua, New Hampshire, to the late Joseph and Rose Tremblay. Armand was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, who passed in 2010. Both were originally from Troy, Ohio, before Armand joined the Army Air Corps during WW II. He eventually served 26 years in the Air Force, attaining the rank of Colonel before retiring in 1968. They returned to their Ohio hometown where Mr. Tremblay began a second career with Hobart Corporation.  After retiring a second time the couple relocated to Bartow, Florida, where they enjoyed many years before eventually moving to Bedford, Texas.

 In addition to his wife, Ruth, Armand was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, and one grandson. Survivors include sons, Jon Tremblay (Rita) of Carrollton, and Mark L. Tremblay (Edie) of Troy, Ohio; a daughter, J. Lynn Montgomery of Keller, TX; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
