Obituary of Kathy Lu Brackett

Brackett, Kathy Lu, 69, passed away on September 29, 2019 in Dallas, TX.  Kathy was born on December 03, 1949 in Cleburne, Texas to Claude E. Parsons and Norma D. (Ponder) Parsons.

Kathy married the love of her life, James Brackett on May 26, 1978 in Denton, TX.  Together they made their home in Grapevine for the past 41 years.  She was an Insurance Underwriting Specialist for State Farm Insurance Company retiring in 2004 after 37 years of service.

Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Parsons.

She was survived by her loving husband, James C. Brackett; daughter, Shannan Chaler and husband, Terry of Trophy Club, TX; grandson, Dylan Harris of Sanger, TX; sister, Jan Crockett of Plano, TX; brother, Phil Parsons and wife, Tommie of Montgomery, TX; brother, Claude Parsons of Corinth, TX; sister-in-law, Jo Poe Parsons of Grapevine, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 1:00PM at Forest Ridge Funeral Home Memorial Park Chapel.
