Obituary of Michael Cris Amundson

Michael Cris Amundson, 46, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away September 21, 2019.  Michael was born March 23, 1973 in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 26 at 4pm, Celebration of Life will follow at 7pm, Forest Ridge Memorial Park Chapel, 8525 Mid Cities Blvd, North Richland Hills, Texas 76182.

Michael was athletic and had a love of all sports, snowboarding, paddle boarding, golfing, baseball, football, and bowling. There wasn’t a sport or activity he wouldn’t try. He was a mentor to many and was a hero to his son Cristofer. Michael had a passion for welding and cars. 

He had a great sense of humor and was not one to pass up a moment to make someone else laugh or smile.  He was giving, selfless and a true animal lover who loved his dogs circle, square and Bradley James.

Michael is survived by his; soulmate and love of his life Elizabeth Amundson, children; Cristofer Skott Amundson, Robert Michael Ramirez, Shawn Michael Amundson, Father; Mike Amundson, Mother; Julie Sanchez, step-father, Jesse Romero; siblings, Jeramie Shaun Romero, Crystal Gayle Lund, Shane Alexander Amundson, Mackenzie Renee Amundson, maternal grandmother; Enemencia S. Romero, best friends; Jr. Alvarado, Felix Barron and his work family; John Olsta, Jack Olsta and PneuTech, Fort Worth.

Michael is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Clarence and Inez Amundson; maternal grandfather Fidel G. Romero Sr., step-mother; Jeanette Amundson, cousin; Rocky R. Sosa Jr. and his beloved dog Sissy.
