Obituary of Gerald Powell Jr.

Gerald Powell Jr. (48) of Euless, TX will be 5:00p.m. September 22, 2019 at the Glory Church in Hurst, Texas with the Pastor Bill Earley to officiate. Gerald went home to be with the Lord  September 2, 2019 in Grapevine, TX. After a lengthy health battle.  He was born August 17, 1971 to Gerald and Glory Powell in Green Bay. He moved to Texas to live by his family. He soon met and married the love of his life.  Together they have three children.  He loved children of all ages.  He was an avid reader and knew quite a bit about history which he taught for a short time. In high school he was a defensive tackle and was gifted with a beautiful singing voice. Most of all, he was a Christian and was always ready to share his faith.  Gerald was a member of the Glory Church in Hurst, Texas.   Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Kinitia Rinker Powell, children Brooke, Ezekiel and Lindsey Powell, parents Gerald and Glory Powell Sr., brother Cameron and wife Patty Powell and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
