Eric Compton

Obituary of Eric Daniel Compton

Eric Daniel Compton, 35, of Winchester, CA passed away on July 27, 2019. He was raised in Colleyville, TX where he graduated from Grapevine High School. Eric was proud to have served in The United States Marine corps; he joined the elite group in 2003 and was an active service member until his passing. Many lifelong friendships were formed during his several tours of duty in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He was looked up to and respected and was an excellent leader and team member.

In April of 2005, Eric married the love of his life and they have four beautiful children. He was the epitome of a devoted husband and father. Eric will be remembered as the Dad who was always teaching his kids new things and always providing opportunities for new and exciting experiences. His hobbies - hunting, fishing, and archery - were never done alone, as he was always sharing his passions with his children. He taught them what it was to work hard, but be humble in all that was earned. In the same breath, he taught them to play hard and enjoy life. Though Eric is no longer with us, we will continue to see him not only in his children, but in all those whose lives he touched.

Eric was preceded in death by his brother Jacob Compton. He is survived by his wife Sina and their four children - Jonathan, Brandon, Aidan, and Sarah. He is also survived by his mother Denise Compton and his father Clark Compton. Eric leaves behind many family members and friends who love him dearly.
