Obituary of Delores Janet Ezzell

Delores Janet Ezzell of Keller, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 25, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 31, 1933 to Stella Geesaman and Earl Starnes of St. Joseph, Missouri.

 Preceding Delores in death were her parents, her beloved husband Jack of 56 years in 2010, brothers Fred Starnes and Dales Geesaman Jr.

Surviving family members include her 6 children:  Connie Wiley (Bill) of Wilsonville, Oregon, Jeanine Nicholes (Bill) of Bedford, Texas, Jeanette Starke of Wathena, Kansas, Sandra Poe (Steve) of Carmel, Indiana, Bill Ezzell (fiance’ Diana Snider) of Fort Worth, Texas, and Don Ezzell (Shelley) of North Richland Hills, Texas.  Grandchildren:  Kara, Kyle, Tiffany, Melissa, Elizabeth, Ryan, Jenni, Erin, Holly, Sarah, Michael & Jason and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Delores graduated from Savannah High School in Savannah, Missouri in 1951.  She married the love of her life Jack, on February 21, 1953 in St. Joseph, Missouri.  Delores was a master seamstress and an excellent cook and baker.  She was fortunate to be at home and raise her 6 children in a warm and loving home.  She loved to read, and the Bible was her favorite book of all.

In 1981 Jack & Delores relocated to Euless, Texas.  Delores was an active member of their church and loved all of those that God put in her life. She was known for her smile and loved to give hugs.  She had a servant heart and sweet spirit.

Delores retired from Omni American Credit Union in 2002.

She will be greatly missed by all, but we rejoice knowing that she is with her heavenly Father.
