Obituary of Vera Lauretta Hiser

Vera Lauretta Hiser went to be with the Lord June 10, 2019.  She was born January 24, 1944 to William and Vera Hiser in Columbus, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held Friday June 14, 11am at Forest Ridge Memorial Park Chapel, 8525 Mid Cities Blvd. North Richland Hills, Texas 76182.

Interment will follow at 2pm, Mount Olivet Cemetery, 2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111.

Surviving family members include her son, Mark and his wife Tiffaney, granddaughter, Kayla, sisters, Alice, Joann, Judy and many nieces and nephews.

Growing up Vera enjoyed roller-skating with her sisters.  She graduated from Banning High School in Banning, California in 1961.  After graduation Vera moved to Long Beach, California and went to work at Robert Shaw as a machine operator and was employed there for over 25 years.  Vera then pursued a nursing license and spent the remainder of her career as a nurse.  She was a member of the Pacific Baptist Church in Long Beach for 10 years before moving to Texas in 2014.  She spent the last five years of her life in North Texas with her son.

Vera enjoyed time with family and always looked forward to large holiday gatherings and visits from her granddaughter.  She will be missed by all.
