Obituary of Charles Robert Dominy

Charles "Chuck" Robert Dominy went to be with the Lord, May 10, 2019.

Service: 10:00 am Wednesday, May 15, at Forest Ridge Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 8525 Mid Cities Blvd North Richland Hills.

Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, at the funeral home.

Chuck was born in Houston, Tx on October 27, 1939 to Percy and Frankie Dominy.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Percy Dominy and his son, Kevin Griffith.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force for seven years. He retired from his heating treating company and became a renowned artist. Known for his skills of art, he made handmade knives and western bronzes. He was very active in the SASS world of cowboy action shooting for many years. Chuck was a member of the Cowboy Church in North side.

The last four years of his life he spent with his cats and his beloved wife by his side. 

 He is survived by his wife, Mary Dominy, two daughters, Tonda Whitmire and Laura Schmidt, grandchildren and great grandchildren and three estranged children.
