I am in shock. It's June 18th and I am just tonight learning of Michael's passing.
He was a great friend, an awesome musician, he always made me laugh and was one of the kindest men I have ever known.
My heart goes out to his family and other friends.
R.I.P. Silver Man.

Michael was a bass and guitar student of mine at Tarrant County College. He was a joy to teach. He was always present and prepared. Michael's beautiful spirit made our time together truly a blessing!!!! He will be missed.

My condolences to Mike's family and loved ones. I only spoke to Michael a few times, but he was a very nice fellow and was doing a really good job singing some standard jazz tunes. I especially liked his rendition of "Fly Me to the Moon." We at TCC NE will miss his presence.

Sad to learn of mikes passing. He and I frequented many jams back in the day, then united by guitars for heroes. My condolences to Roxanne and the extended family.

My sincerest condolences to Michael’s family, music friends, and loved ones. Since I had not known Michael but a short time, I cannot imagine the pain you must be feeling. What I can tell you is, in the short time I knew him, Michael changed considerably. Michael’s view of his past softened, his view of the future came more into focus, his view of the present much brighter. He talked of his love for his family and his desire to be the best person he could be. May God rest his soul and may Michael’s harp be huge!
