Obituary of Marjorie Payne

Marjorie Estelle Payne, 90, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 at a local hospital.

Visitation; 12pm to 1pm Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Forest Ridge Funeral Home Memorial Park Chapel, 8525 Mid-Cities Blvd., N. Richland Hills.  Funeral service; 1pm following visitation at the funeral home. Interment; Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville.

Marjorie was born in Twitty, Texas on November 16, 1928 to Lonzy George Clay and Lula Addison Clay. She was the youngest of 6 children and the last one surviving, her father was killed in a car crash when she was 14 years old. They were farmers and would set up a food stand at the end of their driveway.  In 1963, Margie moved to Hurst. In1983, Charles and Margie started their own succesful business. She retired in 2010 from the business. Charles, the love of her life passed away in 2015.

Margie is survived by four children, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.
