Shocked and so very sorry to hear of Chris' passing. I met Chris many years ago and rode one of my first HHH rides with him. A true gentleman, and wonderful ambassador for the cycling community in DFW. Sincere condolences to Chris' family and friends.

Chris was an encouraging soul, when I was injured in a bicycle crash he offered great encouragement. And as for Megan, she paid me the highest compliment on a shop ride once. She said I looked like Mario Cipollini. The pair are now riding on streets of gold.

Sorry for your loss. What a great man. The biking community has lost such a great ambassador. Techniques and equipment I use today are from Chris. He was such a jokester and made things fun. He had a serious side too and especially around bike safety. That smile is going to be missed. My prayers are with you.

I have ridden many miles with Chris. He was a fine individual who’s own passion for cycling was only surpassed by his passion to share cycling with others. His thoughtful nature draws me to the time he offered to let my daughter Ann-Elise race Megan’s bike at the Superdrome. We couldn’t accept his kind offer but his ability to offer Megan’s track bike to my daughter to fuel her passion for cycling is something we will both hold dear for the rest of our lives. I know Chis has traded Megan’s pink bike in for a shinny new gold one. Scout out the streets of Heaven for me Chris so you can show me the best places to ride when it’s my time. You will be missed. May you RIP!

Chris was a wonderful guy full of life. He was a great ambassador in the cycling community and was one of the big reasons I got into the sport. He encouraged me to ride more, start racing, and influence others through the sport. My life is better having known Chris. Chris will be missed but never forgotten. Rest In Peace Chris.

My sincere condolences to Chris' family. I have known Chris for many years, but was able develop a closer friendship while we worked together in the LTL business. He was a good man, who had an indescribable love for his family and life in general. His heart was big and I know his love and passion will be passed down through the generations.

My sincere condolences to the family, friends, and whole cycling community for the loss. Chris supported his family and fellow friends during hard times. His big heart and love was extended to anyone who did seek comfort and all who was searching, received it from him. Not personally knowing Chris, I felt his presence trough the deeds he made in our cycling world. You will be remembered, Chris. Yes, you always looked high and above for the hope and future, for a better future, trying to improve, create, and deliver the best of you. Your attitude is kind and your life was magnificent. Rest in peace. Your deeds will live in us. We will pass it on as you did. With love and regret I say good bye for now. Oksana

Dear Baab Family,
I am so sad that Chris' life on earth has been cut short. He has done so many great things and brought so much joy to people. I guess his work here was done. I never saw him without a smile on his face. My favorite memory of Chris is of him calling my younger daughter, Allison, "Mary Kate". He thought she looked like the Olsen twins. He seemed to be the best Dad a girl could ask for! I am praying for God's comfort and healing during your time of grief.
