Obituary of Arlene Grieco
Arlene Gloria Grieco (nee Steindl), 90, passed away on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018, in Denton, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Flower Mound, Texas.
She was born in Manhattan, New York, on October 17th, 1928, to the late Rose (nee Goldstein) Steindl and Irving Steindl. Arlene was a graduate of Walton High School, The Bronx, New York, and went on to further her education in the field of Art History, at Columbia University. While taking courses at College, she pursued her love of all things Fashion, and became a clothing model for several companies.
Arlene studied Business, and worked as a Legal Secretary for the Nassau County District Attorney’s office in Garden City, L.I., New York for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Valentine Grieco, and her eldest daughter, Ellen A. Grieco.
Arlene is survived by two children; twins; Julie A. Castagnaro, and Stephanie J. Jansch, along with ex-son-in-law, Raymond J. Castagnaro, and son-in-law, Laurenc P. Jansch. She is also survived by four grandsons, Brett R. Castagnaro, Massimo A. Grieco-Barnett, Alexander L. Jansch, and Christopher S. Jansch.
Private visitation and religious services to be held in North Richland Hills, followed by burial in Colleyville, Texas, on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018.
