Obituary of Edward Henry Holmes III

Memorial services for Edward Henry Holmes III (74) of Allen will be 3:00p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Forest Ridge Funeral Home Memorial Park Chapel.  Ed passed away April 9, 2018 in Allen.  He was born January 27, 1944 to Edward Henry Holmes II and Vivian Arnett Holmes in Abilene.  Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife Suzette Holmes of Allen, sons Edward Holmes IV and his wife Katherine of Flower Mound and Dr. Robert Ryan Todd Holmes and his wife Dr. Sonia Holmes of San Diego, CA, daughters Cari Lane Gray of Grapevine, Tasha Alderson of Blue Ridge and Julie Telatnyk and her husband Michael Waechter of Allen, brother Fred Holmes and his wife Donna, sister Ann Taylor and her husband Jet, grandchildren Lucas Alderson, Peyton Gray, Lauren Holmes, Christopher Holmes, Haley Gray, Hannah Gray, Taylor Nicolle and Mason Miller, nephews Michael Holmes and his wife Kelsey and Jim Taylor and his wife Lori and niece Alise Taylor.  Ed is preceded in death by his parents and brother James Fred Holmes.
