Obituary of Joyce Marie Simmons

Funeral services for Joyce Marie Simmons (85) of Watauga, will be 10:00a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church of Watauga.  Burial will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.  Visitation will be 6:00 ~ 8:00p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.  Joyce passed away March 26, 2018 in North Richland Hills.   She was born March 16, 1933 to Charlie and Lillie Gess in Gainesville, Texas.  Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons Tony Simmons and his wife Lisa of North Richland Hills and Charles Simmons and his wife Kimberly of Mansfield, daughter Alice Garrett and her husband Jeff of North Richland Hills, grandchildren Denise Garrett Cuppett and husband Gary, Billy Garrett and wife Chesley, Amie Martines, Miranda Simmons, Natalie Simmons, Nicholas Simmons, Karly Simmons, Carter Simmons and Kelsey Simmons, great-grandchildren Isaac, Mackenzie, Coy and Colton.  Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Billy Simmons, parents Charlie and Lillie Gess and sisters Doris Gess McLerran and Hazel Gess Arnold.
