Obituary of Grace Truman Wright
Grace Truman Wright, 89, long time resident of Bedford, TX went to be with the Lord on Sunday March 11, 2018 in Denton, Texas. Born September 25, 1928 to Boe and Berry Test of Ennis, Texas. She was preceeded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur Travis Wright; her parents; brother, Joe Test and wife Peggy of Waxahachie, TX.
Grace is survived by her brother, Buddy Test and wife Joanie of Grandbury, TX; four children, son Gary Wright and wife Laurie of Mesa, AZ; daughters, Laura Fletcher and husband David of Denton, TX; Yvonne Swartz and husband Jay of Melbourne Beach, FL; Elaine Chase and husband Vinnie of Ferris, TX as well as 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Grace was an active member of First Baptist Church Euless, where she served in the Prayer Room and Baptistry, taught Sunday School and Girls Auxiliary.
Prior to retirement, she worked many years as Office Manager at a major national moving company. Previously, Grace and Travis owned and operated their own business, the Dairy Mart in Euless, TX.
Viewing of the body will be March 19, 2018 at Forest Ridge Funeral Home, 705 Airport Freeway, Hurst, TX 76053 at 9:00 am. There will be a police escort from the funeral home to the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, TX following the viewing. Graveside service at 11:30 am.
