Obituary of Bonnie Jean Womack

Bonnie Jean Womack, 75, of Burleson Texas, passed away on March 4th, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas with her loving family and friends at her bedside.

Viewing will be Wednesday, March 7th at Forest Ridge Memorial Park Chapel, 8525 Mid-Cities Blvd. North Richland Hills, TX 76182.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, March 8th at Forest Ridge Memorial Park Chapel.  Burial will follow at Isham cemetery.

Bonnie was born in Aurora, Illinois to Lila Brown and Carl Linden on September 19, 1942.  She went to school at L.D. Bell High School.  Bonnie married Melvin Womack Sr. in 1959 in Weatherford, Texas.  She worked as a CNA for Arlington Villa Nursing Home for 25 years, spending her whole life caring for others.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Womack and son, Melvin Womack Jr., her parents and a brother.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Richard Womack; daughters, Debbie Conway and spouse Lee Conway, Cathy Fontana and spouse Jeff Fontana, and Angela Stevenson; sister, Lavonne Strickland; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren, who will all miss their Granny Bonnie Jean more than any words can describe.

The family of Bonnie wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Guatam and all the other medical professionals involved in her care that gave us the precious extra time to spend with her these last few years.
