Obituary of Forrest Dewey Tennant
Forrest Dewey Tennant born January 5, 1941 in Dallas, TX. Dewey was a loving, caring husband and father and was very proud of his family. He was a devout husband and christian who loved his fellow man. He was sadly taken from his family February 19, 2018 all too soon due to an auto accident.
Funeral service: 11:00 am Friday, February 23, at Glenview Baptist Church, 4805 N. E. Loop 820.
Dewey had been a Bedford resident for over 44 years. Dewey was fun loving and never met a stranger. Dewey graduated from Sunset High school and was very proud of Arcadia Park in Dallas, TX. He worked for Bell Helicopter, retiring after 39 years. He was involved in several volunteer, charity and service works such as Need, Santa Texas, Bedford Parks Board, he was a Mason, He was a member of the UAW Local 317 and attended Glenview Baptist Church. Dewey was avid about helping his neighbors and friends as well as anyone else in need… forever a good samaritan. Dewey loved the upkeep of his yard and beautifying the neighborhood. He also loved his dog Lily.
Dewey was preceded in death by his Mother, Dorothy and Father, O.L “Dutch”; Sister Elaine and wife Carole.
SURVIVORS: He was survived by his loving wife Sharon, three sons, Tony, Todd and his wife Julie, Tim and his wife Brenda. Two daughters, Cindy and husband, Melvin and Lindy. Grandchildren; Collee, Chrissy, Tiffany, Summer, Spencer, Sky, Emily and Levi as well as several great and great-great grandchildren; sister, Marilyn and a brother-in-law Mike and sister-in-laws Connie, Cynthia and Terri.
