Obituary of Peggy Cramer

Peggy, a christian, went to be with her beloved husband of almost 50 years and first son, Randy on February 15, 2018 after a very long battle with multiple illnesses.

Service will be held on Monday, February 19, at 10:00 am, Forest Ridge Funeral Home in Hurst. Burial will take place at Moore cemetery in Arlington.

She was a Friend to many, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Artist, Cook and Story-Teller. Whether she was telling stories, cooking a great meal, making you a special hat, or sitting around playing board games … everyone loved to be around her.  Peggy not only left this world with a heritage of stories, pictures and handmade gifts, she leaves her family and friends with years of memories of love and true devotion for those around her.

Peggy was born November 18, 1937 in Fort Worth, Texas to Johnny and Edith Priddy.  She married her high school sweetheart, Jack Cramer in 1955.   They built a family and business together with their three children:  Randy, Johnny and Karen. 

Peggy was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband and son Randy.

She is survived by her son and his wife Johnny and Diane Cramer; her daughter Karen Kates; her grandchildren, Mindy and her husband Tom Bulger; Jonathan and his wife Kristie Cramer; Jason Kates and his family, Celena and her husband Matt Wennersten; and her great-grandchildren Tristen, Anthony, Rebekah, Rosalyn, Davis, Layla, MacKenzie and Mason. Peggy is also survived by four wonderful sisters, a brother, many nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.
