Obituary of Burl Hamilton Millstid Jr.

Burl Hamilton Millstid Jr. of Haltom City, Texas, 68, passed peacefully from this life into eternity on Sunday February 11, 2018 at Harris Methodist H-E-B hospital in Bedford, Texas.

 Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Memorial Park Chapel in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Memorial Park Chapel in North Richland Hills, Texas.

 He will be laid to rest at after service on Thursday February 15, 2018 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas where he will await the sound of the trumpet.

Burl had a big heart...a servant’s heart. As a young man he served in the United States Army and through the years he continued to selflessly serve those around him in their time of need. He will be missed immensely by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; Burl and GayDean Millstid, and two brothers, Jerry and Doug Millstid.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of forty-six years, Judy Millstid of Haltom City, Texas; son Stacy Millstid and wife, Jenna of The Colony, Texas; son Kevin Millstid and wife Tara of San Angelo, Texas; seven grandchildren, Tyler Millstid, Sydnee Millstid, Brady Millstid, Presley Millstid, Cason Millstid, Lincoln Millstid, and Skylar Millstid.; brother Donnie Millstid of Trinity, Texas; sister Gayla Hardin of Lufkin, Texas; sister Judy Millstid of Trinity, Texas; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends who loved him deeply. He has gained his crown and one day we will be joined with him in the rapture.
