Evelyn Mae De Oreo, 90, of North Richland Hills, Texas passed away on January 30, 2018.  She was born on July 19, 1927 to John and Anna Safranek in Cleveland, Ohio.  Evelyn went to school until the war started and then had to work on the farm to help her family.  As a young adult, she moved to the city and worked for a pharmaceutical company, where she met her husband, Victor.  They were married on July 12, 1954.  They had 4 children and spent most of their married life in Greenville, South Carolina.  Evelyn held several jobs over the course of her life, but the one she enjoyed the most was at the Canteen at Michelin where she worked until she retired at the age of 75.  In her free time, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, baking, crocheting, and listening to music.  Her favorite times were spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Evelyn was a wonderful, strong and courageous woman who was loved and will be missed by so many.
