Obituary of Ronald Amie Delaney

RONALD AMIE DELANEY, 82, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 27, 2018. VISITATION, Friday, February 2, 2018, 6 – 8.p.m., FOREST RIDGE FUNERAL HOME. SERVICE, LIFE FELLOWSHIP CHURCH, Hurst, Saturday, February 3, 2018, 10:00 a.m.

Memorials:  Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be directed to the American Heart Association.

Ron was born in North Collins, New York on October 2, 1935.

He Enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah. Discharged from the Army as a First Lieutenant in the Chemical Core. Worked for Ratheon, IBM, Burroughs Corporation, Plessey Semiconductors and retired from Boeing Electronics as Functional Team Leader on the Strategic Planning Team over Engineering and Information Sections and Ethics Advisor after receiving several awards and accolades.

Ron met and married his wife of 58 years, Patricia Louise Danesi in 1959 in Groveland, Massachusetts. God blessed them with Scott Andrew, Michele Marie, Kevin Matthew, and Stephen Paul.

Ron was a loving and devoted Husband, Father, Papa and Great Grandfather.

He loved the Lord with all his heart throughout his whole life. He served as an altar boy as a young boy. Later in life, Ron was an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and served as a Pastor, Associate Pastor, and industrial chaplain, and life counselor.

Waiting in heaven for him are his parents, Amo A. Delaney, Rosella A. Agro, and twin daughters, Karen and Sharon Delaney.

Ron is survived by his wife, Patricia Delaney; children, Scott Delaney, Michele Crawford, Stephen Delaney and Kevin Delaney; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
