You’ve been heavy on my heart today, Grandpa! I miss you more than you will ever know. I always knew you would make it to 100 but God had better plans for you. I love and miss you so much. These past 4 months just haven’t been the same but I know you were ready, you even said it yourself. That’s about the only thing that keeps me going. Until we meet again! ❤️

“Well All Right!” We’ll miss Jim’s amazing and ever-present optimism, love and concern for all those around him. His love brought happiness to our Mother, Jean Fulks’, last years and carried her through the transition to be with her best friend, Jesus in 2011. We have wonderful memories of the mischief in his eyes while he played Skipbo with the family, told stories of building Christian camps and fascinated us with amazing details about our Dad, RJ, as fellow “Plank Owners” on the USS Haverfield during the war. Jim and Jean’s friendship grew from the USS Haverfield reunions after Dad passed in ‘96. They kept in touch over the years as God worked things in his mysterious ways until they married and Jim moved to California. We found an old navy picture of “Little Jimmy Northcutt” - a fresh face hungry to learn and share with everyone he met. He never met a stranger, cared deeply and prayed unceasingly. Thank you, Jim, for loving us - celebrate with the saints in glory...say hi to Mom & Dad!

I am so sorry that Uncle Jimmy has passed, but I KNOW he is happy going home to his Heavenly Father, and all the family that have gone before him! I have so many happy memories of him throughout my life, and can still hear his infectious laughter! He was a wonderful family man to ALL his family! Mom and Dad loved him so, and I will always remember his speaking at their memorial services, straight from his heart! So many times, when I was younger, I remember opening our front door, and there were Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Non! They always brought love and laughter into our house! Uncle Jimmy was a devout man of God, and helped so many people in this world! I believe if we all listen hard, when the wind blows, when can hear him and my Mother Mona (brother and sister), singing in the Heavenly Choir! We love you Uncle Jimmy, and will see you when we all reach the other shore!
Love, Darla and Don Wilmot
