Obituary of Delma Jones
Delma Riley Jones, age 82 passed away peacefully on January 5, 2018.
Delma was born May 9, 1935 in Krum, TX, one of four children of James and Stella Riley. At the age of six her family moved to Pilot Point where she remained through high school. After high school graduation, Delma moved to Fort Worth and began working at Leonard’s Dept. store. She later married and had two children, James Clinton and Lisa Ann. Although the marriage did not last the love for her children did.
She tried her best to raise Clint and Lisa to be respectful and honest and they always knew their mother "had their back." Unless, of course, they were being DISRESPECTFUL or DISHONEST then they knew she'd have their backside.
Delma lived in the mid-cities area for most of her life where she was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church, Euless. She was an active member in her bible study class until health no longer permitted her to attend.
She is survived by her children, Clint and Debbie Wilcox, and Jimmy and Lisa Carder. Her brother John Riley and sister Wanda Riley Blackstock and her husband Bob and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends.
Delma was a hard working woman and a great mother and we are proud to call her OUR Mom.
