Obituary of Carolyn Elizabeth Nelson

Carolyn “Carrie” Nelson died Thursday, December 28, 2017. 

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 4th at First United Methodist Church, 521 W. Pipeline, Hurst.  Private Interment at Sunrise Cemetery, Wahoo, NE.

Her memory may be honored by a gift to the Alzheimer’s Association North Texas, Community Hospice, or the charity of your choice.

Carolyn was born in Wahoo, NE, and had been a resident of Bedford for 24 years.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Oliver Cameron, and granddaughter, Margaret Rietz.

Carolyn is survived by her daughters; Nancy Nelson of Bedford and Karen Rietz and son-in-law Thomas, granddaughters, Leah and Linnea Rietz of Iowa City, IA; sister, Gloria Cameron Houle and brother-in-law, Tom of Sioux Falls, SD; and life-long friend Carol Johnson Dey of Gresham, NE.
