Obituary of Shirley Marlene Cover
Shirley (Reynolds) Cover went to sing with the heavenly angles December 23, 2017. A Funeral Service will be Friday, December 29, at the Memorial Park Funeral Home, located at 8525 Mid Cities Blvd, North Richland Hills.
Shirley began her life journey May 31, 1931, the daughter of Vern and Cassie Reynolds West Plains, Mo. She graduated from Willow Springs, Mo. High School and attended Moark Bible College and Southwest Missouri State College.
December 24, 1950 she married Stanley cover with whom she had attended high school. He was in the United States Air Force and she got to travel a lot during those four years. After that, Stanley went into the ministry and between the ministry, military and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, they lived in eleven different states plus Puerto Rico. In all the churches where Stanley served as Pastor, Shirley taught Sunday School, worked in the women's ministry and tutored interactions in English as a second language. In 2007 they moved to North Richland Hills to be near their two children, Jennifer (Cover) Hallcroft and Timothy Cover. She will always be remembered by her constant smile and loving caring person.
Shirley is survived by her husband of sixty seven years, her two children, five grandchildren, a brother Bob Reynolds and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation on Thursday December 28 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Atria Hometown 6350 Winter Park Boulevard, North Richland Hills, TX 76180.
Funeral Service will be Friday, December 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Ridge Memorial Park Chapel 8525 Mid-Cities Blvd. North Richland Hills, TX 76182. Across the street from Atria.
