Obituary of Jeffrey Arthur Little

Jeffrey A. Little, formerly of Findlay, Ohio, passed away in his home in Bedford, Texas, a suburb of Dallas/Fort Worth on Dec. 9, 2017.  Jeff was recuperating at his home after kidney transplant surgery.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist of Bedford, 2045 Bedford Road, Bedford, Texas, 76021. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to City Life Church Missions.

Jeff was born on Sept. 20, 1960, in Toledo, Ohio, to James and Patricia Little.  He was a great kid, a great person who loved God and his job as a licensed television technician with the Daystar television network in Dallas. His many, many  friends remembered him as”a great, humble, gentle man.”  “ He never showed a bad day and always put others before him.”  “…a remarkable person. So caring!”  “Truly a treasure”  In everything, he has been a blessing.”

Jeff attended school in Findlay and helped put Findlay High School on television with his skills in television broadcasting. He attended and graduated from Bowling Green State University. While at BGSU he interned at WBGU-TV and then worked full time at the campus station once he received his broadcast license.

He remained at the station for several years following his graduation then moved to Columbus briefly working for a TV evangelist.  Jeff moved to the Dallas in 1987.  He worked for LIFE Outreach International as Assistant Chief Engineer.  He joined the Daystar Television Network in 1999 and for the last 18 years was the Senior Network Engineer.

For most of his time in Texas Jeff was a member of Restoration Church.  He was always ministering to someone someway by serving others who needed to know his Lord. Jeff found great joy and peace in visiting with his family in the summer at the family cottage on Wolf Lake in the Irish Hill of Michigan, his final resting place.

He is survived by his parents, James and Constance Little, his sister Janet (Steve) Shepherd, his brother Gregory (Carol) Little, his step sisters Shelley Megan Mateer (Tracy Tupman), Jamie Mateer, Melissa Mateer (Jeff Rosser), step brother E. Ross (Julie) Mateer,  and 11 nieces and nephews.
