God gave us a great example of living a Christ like life when knowing Mr Hall. I will always be indebted to him and his wife's selfless love in helping my father deal with my mother's prolonged illness. I wish I had a fraction of his gentle nature . It spoke louder than any word.
I am sure God welcomed him with into Heaven with ' well done my servant , my good and faithful servant.

My Uncle Glenn has left an indelible mark on my life. He and my Aunt LaVerne were who we got together with on holidays throughout my childhood. He was a soft spoken, kind man of great faith and integrity. It was he my Mother held onto in one of the darkest periods of her life. She called him brother because although not related by blood, she often said that he was "there" for her in her greatest time of need. I always considered him to be wise. He chose his words carefully, never wanting to offend or embarrass. Uncle Glenn worked for Rex Homestead for many years. My wife was in the store one day when she asked an employee if he had known Glenn. Although he had been retired for many years, he said that everybody knew Glenn Hall, that in fact a yearly award was given out in his name to the employee of the year. I wasn't surprised because my Father often said that Glenn was "the finest man he ever knew." Rest In Peace Uncle Glenn.
Thanks for being a true hero to me when I was a child.
