Obituary of Jeannie Maurine Leinfelder

~~Jeannie Ramsey Leinfelder, 71, of Richland Hills, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 in North Richland Hills.
Services will be held at 12pm on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Forest Ridge Memorial Park Chapel, 8525 Mid-Cities Blvd, North Richland Hills, TX.   In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Jeannie’s favorite charity, The Salvation Army. 

Jeannie was born February 9, 1946 to Jack & Janice McKinley in San Angelo, TX.    She spent her life taking care of others, from her three sons to her husband and the thousands of children she served during her twenty-six years working in various school cafeterias.    Known for her outstanding cooking and selfless spirit, her door was always opened to her friends and family, and no one left her home hungry.   Her true loves in life were her husband, three sons and her dogs.

Jeannie was a loving wife, mother and friend and will be greatly missed. 

Jeannie is predeceased by her parents, Jack & Janice McKinley; brother, Jack K. McKinley; sister, Jackie McKinley Woodul and nephew, B.J. McKinley.    She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Leinfelder, of Richland Hills; sons, Anthony Lloyd Long and wife, Anna, of Granbury; Scott Wayne Davis and wife, Kathy, of Allen; Bradley Spence Davis of Richland Hills; stepsons, Marcus Steven Leinfelder of Texas; Joseph Raymond Leinfelder of Wisconsin; James W. Leinfelder and wife, Renee, of Wisconsin; stepdaughters, Jennifer Ann Leinfelder of Montana; Gretchen R. Truelsen of Utah; twenty grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; numerous other family members, friends and her beloved dogs
