Obituary of Larry Joe Hall
Larry Joe Hall, born August 27, 1940 in Springer, NM died Sunday January 21 at Medical City hospital in North Richland Hills, TX at the age of 77 from health complications. Larry was the second to youngest of nine children born to George and Vera Hall. Larry graduated from Clayton High School in Clayton, NM in 1958 where he played on the baseball team. Larry’s work history was predominantly in sales as a manufacturer’s rep for S & S Sales, and later for StarTex Chemical where he retired in 2006. Larry enjoyed playing golf, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and almost any type of card game that involved socializing with friends and family. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Georgia Nuzum, Betty Wiseman, and Bobby Thurman, and brother Bill Hall. Larry is survived by his wife, Sharon (Vann); son Todd and his wife Kelly with grandsons Dylan and Ethan of Amarillo, TX; son Jeff and his wife Shelena of Frisco, TX; sister Ima Jean of Albuquerque, NM; brothers John (J.O.) of Tyler, TX; Jack of Raton, NM; and Jerry of DeSoto, TX; and one of his best friends and “husband-in-law” Dick Coats of Amarillo, TX. No formal funeral arrangements are planned at this time, but feel free to make a donation to the charity of your choice under his name.
